About the event
The program begins with a screening of an emblematic documentary of Iranian culture, in the presence of director Ayat Najafi. No Land's Song (2014), a revealing documentary about the struggle for women's freedom of expression through music in Iran, will be presented with an introduction and discussion led by the director.
The day concludes with the Nachtmusik concert, offering a musical and literary exploration across eras and cultures. Performers Georg Nigl (baritone), Alexander Gergelyfi (harpsichord), and Ulrich Noethen (narrator) present musical works by Henry Purcell, Giulio Caccini, and Claudio Monteverdi, accompanied by poems from the revered Iranian poet, Forough Farrokhzad.
